Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Still waters - “He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.” I can’t even begin to describe to you the process of creating this intense, bold ink painting. It was the end result of a morning of rampant experimentation and even if I COULD tell you how I did it, it’s likely I could never repeat it! Sigh. Such is the mystery and joy of working with this highly reactive medium. I hope you enjoy it and thanks for looking!
I've been painting since I was nine years old when my mother put a brush in my hand and said, "This is how you do it." I must have been a good listener. My career as a a painter has come in waves, however. It has taken me a lifetime, but I am now a full-time painter. A few years ago I challenged myself to do a painting a day; hence, the eye paintings. I recently lost my husband of 47 years. As part of my bereavement, I visited my artist/sister, KC Pollak, in Colorado. We spent nearly all day for 10 days in her art cabin making alcohol ink paintings. What a joyful, healing time! And I found a new love and passion. Now I live my work and love my life even more.
