Product Details

The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.

The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall.   This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.

Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

Artist's Description

I strive to paint with intentionality and purpose. This type of painting, however, is spontaneous and reactive! How does one paint with intention when one doesn’t know what the results will be? With integrity, which is to say, with honesty and humility, undivided and whole!

Even with repeated practices, something surprisingly unexpected results. At one point, then, do I say, “that’s what I intended?” My work in alcohol inks has involved years of trial and error and refinement, and has evolved a great deal. Yet EVERY time I set about working with alcohol inks, I’m amazed and surprised. There is an anticipation, a learned expectation, that what is an organically reactive product, when applied in a consistent manner, will be remarkably, delightedly UNexpected. Of course, not everything turns out well, and maybe knowing what to keep and what to wipe, what to tinker with or what to toss, is the REAL work of the artist. Thank you for looking and enjoy!

About Christy Sawyer

Christy Sawyer

I've been painting since I was nine years old when my mother put a brush in my hand and said, "This is how you do it." I must have been a good listener. My career as a a painter has come in waves, however. It has taken me a lifetime, but I am now a full-time painter. A few years ago I challenged myself to do a painting a day; hence, the eye paintings. I recently lost my husband of 47 years. As part of my bereavement, I visited my artist/sister, KC Pollak, in Colorado. We spent nearly all day for 10 days in her art cabin making alcohol ink paintings. What a joyful, healing time! And I found a new love and passion. Now I live my work and love my life even more.
