Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

As I joined the nation in mourning the terribly brutal killing of George Floyd, I began to question exactly what is “black.” I asked my grandson how to correctly use that term versus “people of color.” He is bi-racial and has always been treated by others as black. Defined, if you will, by his color. He said “people of color” refers to many races whereas “black” refers to people of African descent.
Searching for a way to express my anguish over the tragedy and to process the fear it causes me when I think of my four black grandsons and how vulnerable they are to racial profiling and abuse of power by police, I began to meditate on color as it pertains to inks, my preferred medium, which resulted in experimentation in puddles of intense hues which flowed into and around one another. This is one of three created at that moment of intense reflection and creativity. Thank you for looking.
I've been painting since I was nine years old when my mother put a brush in my hand and said, "This is how you do it." I must have been a good listener. My career as a a painter has come in waves, however. It has taken me a lifetime, but I am now a full-time painter. A few years ago I challenged myself to do a painting a day; hence, the eye paintings. I recently lost my husband of 47 years. As part of my bereavement, I visited my artist/sister, KC Pollak, in Colorado. We spent nearly all day for 10 days in her art cabin making alcohol ink paintings. What a joyful, healing time! And I found a new love and passion. Now I live my work and love my life even more.
